About Sonus — YouTube to Spotify
Bring the music you find on YouTube into your Spotify playlists.
Open a YouTube video or playlist, click Sonus, and choose what to import. Sonus opens with your link ready. Review the songs and choose a new or existing Spotify playlist.
For long videos, Sonus extracts songs from timestamped tracklists in the video description. It does not recognize songs from audio. Spotify matching results and manual corrections are available after import.
The extension uses only active-tab access. It reads the current URL when you open the popup and sends the chosen YouTube link to Sonus only when you click Import. It does not read page contents, cookies, account tokens, or your browsing history list.
An account and a Spotify connection are required for real imports. IMPORTANT: Sonus's Spotify integration currently runs in Development mode. Only accounts allowlisted by the Sonus operator can complete Spotify imports. This release is for that limited testing audience; general public Spotify access is not available.
Free includes up to 50 songs per import and one sync. Optional Sonus Plus (€0.99/month) includes 500 songs and five syncs; Pro (€2.99/month) includes 1,000 songs and 20 syncs. Plan and sync limits apply. The extension is free to install.
Sonus is an independent service and is not affiliated with YouTube, Google, Spotify, or Mozilla.
