About SnoopStop – Stops Sites Recording You. Blocks Cookies & Trackers.
SnoopStop blocks ads and trackers, shows you what websites do behind your back, and checks whether they listened when you said no.
BLOCKS ADS AND TRACKERS
Ad networks, analytics, data brokers and conversion pixels are blocked on every site, including video ads on YouTube. In our own test on eight news sites, pages made 77% fewer requests and connected to 88% fewer different domains with SnoopStop on (one run per site; results vary).
SEE WHEN A SITE RECORDS YOU
Thousands of sites load tools that can record your mouse movements, clicks and typing. SnoopStop blocks close to thirty of them (Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, FullStory and others) and shows an alert the moment one appears. One click turns the alert into a card you can share.
SAYS NO TO COOKIE POPUPS, AND CHECKS IT WAS HEARD
SnoopStop clicks "reject" for you on the common consent popups and on many custom ones. If the page still calls trackers after that, it tells you which ones. It never clicks "reject and subscribe" buttons.
WARNS ABOUT FAKE SIGN-IN PAGES
Lookalike addresses such as paypa1.com are flagged before you type a password. So are pages that present themselves as a brand but sit on another address.
ASK A SITE TO DELETE YOUR DATA
One click writes the legal request (GDPR, KVKK, CCPA or LGPD), looks for the site's privacy contact and keeps track of the reply deadline. You send it yourself. This is not legal advice.
A GRADE FOR EVERY SITE, A REPORT EVERY WEEK
Click the icon to see an A to F grade, the companies tracking you on the page and what was done about them. The weekly report shows which trackers you ran into, and on how many sites.
ALSO DONE FOR YOU
• Tracking tags such as fbclid, gclid and utm_ are removed from links
• Cookies set by scripts expire after 7 days instead of years
• Canvas, WebGL and audio fingerprints are scrambled and your graphics card name is hidden
• Chrome's ad topics and ad measurement are switched off on every page
• Every site is told not to sell or share your data (Global Privacy Control)
SIMPLE
One switch for everything, one to turn it off on a site. If a site asks you to disable your ad blocker, turn SnoopStop off on that site only.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no server, no analytics. Everything is worked out and stored in your browser.
