SnapRecall - Web to Flashcards + SRS

SnapRecall turns useful web text into private flashcards you can review with built-in spaced repetition. Highlight a sentence, definition, code note, or study fact on a webpage, then save it with the floating capture pill, right-click menu, keyboard shortcut, or popup. SnapRecall creates an editable front/back card, stores it locally in your browser, and brings it back when it is due. Free features: • Capture web text into flashcards • Review due cards in the popup or Chrome side panel • Streaks, review stats, and due-card badge • CSV export • Up to 2 decks The one-time $29 Lifetime unlock adds: • Unlimited decks • Full JSON backup and restore • Premium review queues for new and hard cards Checkout opens on Gumroad in a normal browser tab. Gumroad emails a license key; paste it in SnapRecall Options to activate paid features on this browser profile. Google is not the seller. Privacy-first by design: • Study data stays in IndexedDB and chrome.storage.local • No accounts, analytics, ads, telemetry, or remote hosted code • Cards, decks, selections, and review logs are not sent to Gumroad • License verification sends only the Gumroad product ID, license key, and a verification request that does not consume a license use • JSON backups never include license credentials Legal choice: First launch presents SnapRecall’s product-specific Terms and Privacy Policy. If you accept, only a signed, privacy-minimal record of that choice is recorded through an Uncommon Weather page; card and study content are never included. Declining leaves the extension in limited mode without repeated prompts. SnapRecall is published by Uncommon Weather LLC. Support: team@uncommonweather.com. SnapRecall is built for students, language learners, developers, researchers, and professionals who want to turn what they read into durable memory without leaving the browser.
