SnapMemo - Quick Notes for Chrome

SnapMemo is a lightweight Chrome extension for quickly capturing notes while you browse. Create notes from the popup, save selected webpage text directly from Chrome’s context menu, organize everything from a simple dashboard, and set one-time reminders when you need them. No account or sign-up required. Add a title, write your note, and continue browsing. SnapMemo supports lightweight formatting with bold, italic, and underline when you need a little more structure. Save Selected Text Select text on a webpage, right-click, and choose “Save to SnapMemo”. The selected text is saved directly as a note, using the source website as the note title. This makes it useful for quickly keeping snippets, references, quotes, or information you want to return to later. Dashboard Manage all your saved notes from the SnapMemo dashboard. Choose between Cards and Compact views depending on how much information you want to see. Your selected view is remembered automatically. Use live search to quickly filter notes by title or note content. You can: • Switch between Cards and Compact views • Search across note titles and content • Edit notes • Delete individual notes • Reorder notes with drag and drop • Clear all notes when needed • Set or remove reminders • Export your current notes as a PDF Reminders Set a one-time reminder for any note using 15, 30, 45, or 60 minute intervals. When the reminder expires, SnapMemo displays a notification. Clicking the notification opens or focuses the SnapMemo dashboard. Note: reminders require Chrome and operating-system notifications to be enabled. PDF Export Export your current collection of notes as a PDF directly from SnapMemo. Basic note formatting is preserved where supported, making it easy to keep a simple offline copy of your notes. Keyboard Shortcut Open the SnapMemo popup from anywhere in Chrome using: • Windows / Linux: Ctrl+Shift+S • macOS: Command+Shift+S You can customize the shortcut from chrome://extensions/shortcuts. No Account Required SnapMemo does not require registration, a separate account, or a remote note service. Your notes are stored locally in Chrome using the extension’s local browser storage. SnapMemo does not provide cloud synchronization between browsers or devices. Simple by Design SnapMemo is built around a straightforward workflow: Capture something quickly, organize it when needed, and continue browsing. It is not designed to replace a full notes platform or workspace. The goal is to keep quick browser notes easy to access without adding unnecessary complexity.
