About Skipurr: Video Rewind & Fast-Forward

Skip back or ahead in any video by exactly the number of seconds you choose. Press → or D to skip ahead, ← or A to rewind. YouTube jumps 5 or 10 seconds, other players use their own amount, and some don't support skip keys at all. This extension gives you one set of keys that works the same way on most sites with a standard HTML5 video player, with the skip time you pick. HOW IT WORKS → or D: skip ahead ← or A: rewind Shift + key: big jump (30 seconds by default) Tap again and again: the skips add up (+10, +20, +30…) and the video jumps once, so it doesn't reload on every press FEATURES ✓ Choose any skip time from 1 second to 1 hour, separately for forward and rewind ✓ One-click presets: 1, 3, 5, 10, 15 seconds ✓ A small overlay shows how far you skipped, scaled to the video's size ✓ Your skip time shown on the toolbar icon ✓ Works in theater mode, mini players, fullscreen and embedded videos ✓ Turn it off for any site with one switch ✓ A / D keys can be turned off if you need them for something else ✓ Never triggers while you're typing in a search box, chat or comment field PRIVACY The extension only looks for a video on the page and changes its playback position. It doesn't read, collect or send anything: no accounts, no tracking, no network requests at all. WHY CHROME SAYS "READ AND CHANGE DATA ON ALL WEBSITES" To catch your skip keys on whatever site you're watching, the extension has to run on those pages. Chrome uses that standard wording for any extension that does this. The only thing it ever changes is the video's playback position. GOOD FOR - Lectures, tutorials and courses: jump back a few seconds to rewatch a step - Language learning: replay a line as often as you need - Long streams and podcasts: skip ahead in big jumps - Anyone who wants the same skip keys everywhere Some sites with custom players can work differently. If one doesn't work for you, please tell us through the support link instead of a review, and we'll look into it.
