Built with parents in mind, SkipScary acts as an automated, seamless content filter that automatically skips past intense, inappropriate, or unwanted scenes on your favorite streaming platforms. Whether you want to bypass scary parts of movies or even just intense scenes, SkipScary works silently in the background to ensure your movie night stays stress-free. ✨ Key Features: • Intelligent Automation: Instantly fast-forwards through designated timestamps without breaking your viewing flow. • Seamless Visuals: Features a smart blackout overlay and brief muting for Disney+ scenes, and a direct seek for Netflix • Multi-Platform Coverage: Full optimization for both Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon UK web players. • Easy Controls: A simple toolbar menu lets you view active skip intervals and enable / disable individual skips. • Verification: Preview skipped scenes for Netflix and Amazon, to allow you to check and modify skip timings. • User Customisation: You can add your own video entries and skips, with built in functionality to share your customised skips with other people. How it works: Once installed, navigate to any video page on Netflix, Disney+ or Amazon UK Video. The SkipScary extension icon will light up green to show it has actively connected to the media stream. From there, your pre-loaded timestamps will automatically trigger a skip for unwanted scenes.
