SiteScribble: Website Feedback & Responsive Preview

Point to what needs to change, right on the live website. SiteScribble helps clients, designers and developers review responsive layouts and share clear visual feedback. Click the extension on a website to open a review in the same tab. Choose a device size, add comments or draw on the live preview, then prepare a report when you are ready. REVIEW WITHOUT FREEZING THE PAGE • Add an inline comment where you click. Type your feedback and press Send to post it. • Draw freehand or use rectangles, circles, arrows and text over the live website. • Keep posted feedback in a timeline with its page address and device size. • Switch to Browse to use the real website while your annotations remain visible. • Undo and redo edits, revisit saved reviews and mark feedback resolved. • Close SiteScribble with the cross to remove its interface and return to the original page. CHECK RESPONSIVE LAYOUTS Use the top device picker for searchable phone, tablet and desktop presets, custom dimensions and rotation. Decorative device frames scale to fit the space available. Annotations remain attached to their saved page and viewport size. These are responsive layout previews rendered in Chrome. They do not reproduce physical devices, iOS, Safari or touch hardware. Some presets reuse a related device frame. PREPARE AND SHARE FEEDBACK Adding a live annotation does not take a screenshot. Prepare report captures the annotated areas later for PDF, image and editable review-file downloads. You can also take an individual screenshot when needed. Review the prepared captures before sharing. A changed or missing page element may require revisiting the annotation. Optional private share links upload your prepared report to Codecy Labs. Anyone with the link can view it and reply to comments using a name they enter. Links expire after 30 days and the owner can disable them. Recipients can retain downloaded copies. LOCAL BY DEFAULT No account is required. Reviews and captures stay in extension storage until you choose to create a share link. Shared reports can include screenshots, reviewed page addresses, annotations and replies. Check for private information before uploading. Download an editable review file for backup before removing the extension. The website workspace and extension use separate local storage. HOW THE LIVE PREVIEW WORKS SiteScribble loads another instance of the current page inside a frame in your existing tab. It may use your signed-in session, but it does not copy unsaved form state. Browse actions interact with the real website. After a full navigation of the original tab, click the extension again to continue. To allow framed previews, a temporary rule removes X-Frame-Options and Content-Security-Policy headers from same-origin embedded responses only in the active review tab. This reduces those embedded pages' browser protections while the review is open. It does not change the website server, top-level responses or other tabs. The rule is removed on close or navigation. Some websites, cross-origin sign-ins and browser-protected pages still cannot be previewed. No debugger, continuous screen recording, remote executable code, Google login, subscriptions or AI processing is used. Screenshots cover visible viewports rather than automatically stitched full pages.
