Simple VaultPDF

Simple VaultPDF is a Chrome extension for working with PDFs on your computer. Files are not uploaded. Read • Open a PDF and scroll through pages • The toolbar shows the current page (for example Page 14 of 18) • Zoom in and out • Save the current page as PNG or JPG Organize • Reorder, rotate, restore, and delete pages • Merge several PDFs (drop multiple files, or use Add PDF) • Extract selected pages into a new file • Save the result as a PDF Extract text • If a page already has a text layer, that text is copied • Scanned pages are recognized locally with Tesseract.js • English and Hungarian OCR models are included • Other languages can be downloaded once and stored in IndexedDB • Optional Force OCR if you want to ignore embedded text Privacy • PDF files stay in the browser • No account • Extra OCR language files are fetched only after you click Download Open source: https://github.com/opzozi/simple-vaultpdf Privacy policy: https://github.com/opzozi/simple-vaultpdf/blob/main/PRIVACY.md
