The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About SideStream

Watch together without moving your conversation to another chat service. SideStream uses a Telegram Web conversation selected by you to exchange a short-lived WebRTC invitation and answer. Once connected, play, pause, seek, and drift-correction commands travel directly between the two browsers through an encrypted WebRTC DataChannel. - Works with All Streaming platforms - No SideStream account - No SideStream chat or media server - Does not stream, capture, decrypt, or redistribute video - Requires each participant to use their own streaming account - Reads only SideStream `/ss1:` protocol messages after explicit permission Direct peer connections can be blocked by some corporate, mobile, or carrier-grade networks. SideStream currently reports these failures clearly; a shared TURN fallback is not included in this release. SideStream is not affiliated with or endorsed by Any streaming platforms Telegram, Google, or Cloudflare.
