Sidenote

Sidenote — Minimalist 1:1 Web Annotation Tool Sidenote is a lightweight note-taking extension embedded in your browser's side panel. It rejects bloat and embraces "invisibility," designed for designers, developers, and deep readers who value efficiency and focus. Key Features: 1:1 Precision Anchoring: Notes are deeply bound to specific URLs. Revisit any page, and your previous thoughts reappear instantly in the side panel—exactly where you left them. Intelligent Tab Awareness: The side panel content updates dynamically as you switch between tabs. It follows your journey across the web seamlessly. Focused Side Panel Mode: Leverages the native Chrome Side Panel API to provide a distraction-free thinking space without obscuring the main webpage content. Minimalist Aesthetic: A tribute to Apple’s design philosophy. Optimized Monoline icons ensure crystal-clear visibility even at the 16px toolbar size. Multilingual Support: Built-in i18n support for seamless switching between Chinese and English. Every page deserves its own footnote.
