SideDog: AI Summary for Web, PDF & YouTube

SideDog is an AI assistant that lives in your browser's side panel. It reads the page or PDF you are on, so you can ask about it without copying, pasting or switching tabs. What you can do • Ask the page – get answers based on the article, documentation or PDF you are reading. For PDFs, SideDog says which page a fact comes from. • Summarize – key points in seconds, a table of the key data, or a standalone HTML report you can save. • Translate the whole page – side by side with the original or in its place. • Capture and ask – grab the visible screen, drag an area or pick a single element, then ask about charts, tables and images. • Understand videos – on YouTube and Bilibili, SideDog reads the captions, so you can ask what was said and get answers with timestamps. • One-click actions for the page you are on – a quick read of a paper, pros and cons on a product page, a project overview on GitHub, a reply draft in your inbox, plus your own saved prompts. • Explain or translate a selection – highlight text and ask. Private by design • The page is only sent when you ask a question or translate. Nothing is sent while you browse. • Conversations are stored in your browser. No ads, no tracking. • You can leave the page out of any message, and keep sensitive sites off automatic reading. Languages The interface, answers and page translation are available in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil) and Russian. Pricing SideDog is in free public beta. Every new account gets a free trial with a daily usage limit; paid plans are coming later. Sign in with Google or WeChat. Answers are generated by Agnes AI's large language models (agnes-2.5-flash and agnes-3.0-flash). Works in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, version 114 or later.
