Sidebar Tools brings text, link, and image utilities into your browser's side panel. Prepare content, convert formats, and copy or download results beside the webpage you are using. Bring content from your page - Open the extension icon to browse tools, or choose Use current page to send the page URL to a tool. - Right-click selected text, a link, a page, or an image and choose Open in Sidebar Tools. - Review the text, URL, or image preview without replacing unfinished tool input. Choose an operation when you are ready to use the new content. - When a link also has selected text, choose which source to use before processing it. Text and structured data Encode and decode Base64, URL text, and HTML entities. Format, validate, or compare JSON, convert it to and from YAML, and inspect JWTs. Change text case, count words and characters, clean duplicate lines, compare text, create Markdown quotes, or convert CSV and JSON. Developer utilities Test regular expressions, generate HMAC signatures, calculate file checksums, and convert number bases or units. Generate UUIDs, passwords, placeholder text, and synthetic test records locally. No account is required for bundled tools. Links, time, and color Inspect and edit URL query parameters, including repeated keys. Convert timestamps and view dates in different time zones. Convert color formats and pick a screen color where your browser supports it. Generate QR codes from text or URLs. Images and QR reading Choose a local image, paste one normally, or drag a webpage image into an image tool. A clear Input image area and a full-panel drag guide let you drop over the input, result preview, or blank space. Image Converter Lite detects supported source formats and lets you choose PNG, JPG, or WebP output. AVIF input works when your browser can decode it. Compress, resize, or crop images, and read QR codes from static images. Decoded links open only when you click Open link. Visible-tab screenshots Capture the visible area of a tab you select, then crop it, draw annotations, add rectangles or text, undo edits, and download a PNG. Search and larger workflows Find tools by name or description, browse categories, and return through Recent shortcuts. Larger website tools, including PDF editing and AI background removal, open separately in a normal browser tab. Local processing and permissions Bundled tools process your input locally, without analytics or input uploads to out server. Content and images may be stored temporarily on your device when passed between tools. Recent remembers tool shortcuts. The extension does not scan pages in the background or read your clipboard automatically. Web images are fetched from their source servers, and YouTube thumbnails contact YouTube's image server. Image-site access is optional and requested for the selected source site when needed; previously granted access may be reused. Declining access leaves local-file and normal-paste input available. Local calculations can work offline. Remote image loading, thumbnail previews, and website links require an internet connection. Separately opened website tools follow their own privacy practices.
