The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About Sidebar Forum

A distributed, text-only forum that lives in your browser's sidebar. Every web page gets a discussion thread, keyed to the page's address. There is no server, no account, and no admin. See SPEC.md for the full specification — what it does, how to install it, how to use it, and the complete technical reference. This file covers the design decisions and rationale. See PRIOR-ART.md for the competitive landscape, why most projects in this category died, and what that implies commercially. See PRIVACY.md for the user-facing privacy policy — what is stored, what is sent, and to whom. Install it in Brave or Chrome, open any page, and the sidebar shows what other people using the extension have said about that exact page.
