The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About ShortsGuard - Remove Shorts from Your Feed

ShortsGuard removes YouTube Shorts shelves the moment they appear on youtube.com. The home-page Shorts shelf, the Shorts tab on every channel, the For-You row, and the in-search Shorts carousel are all hidden from view automatically. Toggle the extension off from the popup if you want Shorts back. No tracking, no accounts, no cloud - everything runs on your device.
