Welcome to ShieldBlock Pro. Tired of annoying ads? You're in the right place. ShieldBlock Pro blocks most ads on most major websites. This is a personal project I built for fun, to see how useful it can be to the community and how well it can compete with the major ad blockers. What it does • Blocks ads and trackers on websites • Rejects cookie consent popups automatically on many sites, instead of just hiding them • Removes tracking parameters from links (utm, fbclid, gclid and more) • Warns you before you open known malware and phishing sites (on by default; you can turn it off) • Shows ads blocked this session, all-time totals, and time saved Features • About 29,000 built-in blocking rules that work the moment you install, plus 30+ filter lists (EasyList, uBlock Origin, AdGuard and regional lists) updated every 12 hours • Privacy: referrer control, HTTPS upgrade, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals, and fingerprinting protection • Right-click menu: turn blocking on or off for a site, hide any element, report an ad • Keyboard shortcuts: open the popup, toggle blocking on the current site, start the element picker • YouTube: blocks ad and tracking requests without breaking the video player • Free forever Privacy Nothing is sent to the developer. Your stats stay on your computer. Your settings, allowed sites and custom rules sync to your other devices through your browser account. The extension downloads filter lists and, when malware protection is on, public lists of dangerous sites.
