About Sharp State
Sharp State blocks distracting websites while you focus, and only while you focus.
Start a pomodoro on sharpstate.app and the extension switches blocking on. When the session ends, blocking switches off again. No timers to set twice and nothing to remember: your focus sessions drive the blocking.
CHOOSE HOW TO BLOCK
• Blacklist: block only the sites you list (for example youtube.com or x.com).
• Whitelist: allow only the sites you list and block everything else.
• Full block: block every site except Sharp State itself.
• Disabled: keep the extension installed without blocking anything.
A blocked page shows a calm "you're focusing" screen instead of the site, with a link back to your session.
FREE AND PREMIUM
The extension works with a free Sharp State account. Free accounts can list up to 2 sites per list. Premium removes that limit and adds optional navigation tracking: see how much time you spend on each website, per day, in your Sharp State dashboard. Tracking is off by default and only ever records domains (like youtube.com) and time, never full addresses, page titles or anything you type.
PRIVACY
• Settings are managed on sharpstate.app and synced to the extension.
• The extension talks only to sharpstate.app.
• It does not read or change the content of the pages you visit.
• We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
