SG-X – extra controls for X/Twitter

SG-X adds the controls X/Twitter leaves out, right where you use it. Media downloads. A download button on every post and in the media viewer saves every photo, video, or animated GIF of the post in one click, at the original size or in the best video quality X has loaded. Files are named after the post. One-click blocking. A block button on every post blocks its author without the menu and the confirmation. Pre-written replies. Write your usual replies once, on the extension's options page. A button on every post lists them; choosing one opens the reply box and puts the reply in it. The same button sits in X's composer, so a reply can also be picked while quoting or writing a post. Sending it is still your click. The replies can be exported and imported. A quieter sidebar. Everything in the sidebar except search and its suggestions is hidden. Controls panel. A floating panel beside the timeline holds a master volume with its mute button, and playback speed buttons (1×, 1.5×, and 2× by default; choose others, from 0.25× to 2×, on the options page), which apply to every video, current and future. Drag it anywhere: each device remembers where you left it. Lock it in place or reset its position from the extension's menu. Play from the start. Move the pointer over a video and a rewind button appears: one click restarts the video from its beginning, at your master volume. Every feature can be turned on or off from the extension's menu. SG-X is available in English and French. It uses browser storage for preferences and reply templates and runs only on X/Twitter pages. It processes page content, account handles, page activity and existing X session information in your browser to provide its controls. Session information is kept in memory and sent only back to X for user-requested blocks. No data is sent to the developer; there is no analytics or extension server.
