The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About SF Translation Workbench
SF Translation Workbench turns Salesforce Custom Label translation into a single spreadsheet-like screen instead of a language-by-language chore.
Salesforce's own Translation Workbench forces you to pick one language, edit, save, then switch to the next language and repeat — for every label, every time. This extension flips that around: every enabled language is a column, every label is a row, and you edit any cell directly. Only the cells you actually touch get saved; everything else is left alone.
What it does
Shows all your org's Custom Labels and every language you translate into, side by side, in one matrix
Inline editing — click a cell, type the translation, done
Save All sends only the changed cells, grouped efficiently, so you're not re-submitting labels you didn't touch
Search/filter labels by name to jump straight to what you're translating
Opens as a Chrome side panel, so it sits next to your Salesforce tab instead of taking over the screen
How it connects
The extension reads the session of the Salesforce tab you already have open and talks directly to your org's Tooling API. There's no connected app to register, no OAuth consent screen, no admin pre-approval flow to set up before your team can start using it — open your org, click the extension icon, and you're working.
Why it's different from other approaches
vs. Salesforce Setup UI: Setup's Translation Workbench is one language at a time; this shows all languages at once, so you can see gaps and inconsistencies across languages immediately instead of hunting language-by-language.
vs. Data Loader / bulk export-edit-import: no CSV exports, no re-import mapping, no risk of overwriting labels you didn't mean to touch — everything happens in place, live against the org.
vs. OAuth/connected-app tools: nothing to register in Setup, no client ID/secret, no separate login flow — it uses the session you're already in.
Who it's for
Salesforce admins and localization teams maintaining Custom Label translations across multiple languages, especially in orgs where Setup's one-language-at-a-time flow makes bulk translation work slow.
A note on permissions
The extension reads your Salesforce session cookie to authenticate its own API calls to your org — it never sends data anywhere else, and it can only do what your Salesforce user is already permitted to do.
