The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About SERP Counter (Beyond 10)

Some tools restarts its numbering on every page. Position 3 on page 4 is really position 33, and working that out by hand all day is a small tax on anyone who checks rankings. SERP Counter reads the offset the search engine is already using and prints the real position next to every result. Page 2 starts at 11. Page 5 starts at 41. Jump straight from page 1 to page 7 and the numbers are still right. WHAT YOU GET - True rankings, inline Each result carries a bold number immediately before its URL, colour-coded by depth: green for 1 to 3, blue for 4 to 10, orange for 11 to 20, purple for 21 and beyond. Ads, People Also Ask boxes and video carousels are skipped, so what you see is organic position. - Track one URL Type a domain into the popup and the extension watches for it as you page through a keyword. When it appears, its badge turns solid blue, the result is ringed, and the popup tells you the position. Not on this page but seen earlier? The popup says which rank it was found at. - Export to Excel, one file per page One click saves the page you are on as a real .xlsx file: Ranking, Company Name and URL, plus a Tracked URL column whenever a domain is being watched. Files are named for the page they came from, so page 2 and page 3 never overwrite each other. The spreadsheet is built inside the extension, not on a server. - Light and dark A switch in the popup header themes both the popup and the numbers on the search page. Leave it alone and it follows your system setting. WORKS WITH Google, Bing etc. The rank offset is read from each engine rather than counted, which is why jumping between pages never throws the numbering off. WHO IT IS FOR SEO specialists checking where a client sits for a keyword. Content teams auditing who owns page two. Anyone who has ever counted down a results page with a finger on the screen. PRIVACY No account, no tracking, no uploads. Your settings sync through Chrome. The ranks gathered for a search stay in local storage on your own machine and can be cleared from the popup at any time. Created by Souvik Dey — linkedin.com/in/souvikdey-digital-marketer
