The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About SeoBrowser - SEO & GEO & AEO Analyzer
SeoBrowser is a fast, private, on-device technical SEO auditor - purpose-built for the AI-search era.
One click on the toolbar icon (or a tap on the side panel) audits the page you are currently viewing across three modern disciplines:
• SEO - classical search-engine optimisation
• GEO - Generative Engine Optimisation (visibility in AI answer engines)
• AEO - Answer Engine Optimisation (featured snippets, voice answers)
The audit completes in 1–3 seconds and produces a structured report from twelve analyzers rendered across eleven tabs, plus an AIO/GEO/AEO compliance score across 33 weighted criteria.
🔍 WHAT IT INSPECTS
• Overview - title, meta-description, canonical, meta-robots including the nosnippet / max-snippet / data-nosnippet directives that exclude a page from AI Overviews, OG, Twitter Card, security headers, charset, lang, viewport
• Content - H1 count + text, heading hierarchy, word count, text-to-HTML ratio, entity coverage
• Links - internal vs external counts, empty anchors, generic anchors, authoritative outbound citations, topical clusters, anchor entropy
• Hreflang - count, ISO validity, x-default, self-reference
• Images - alt coverage, width/height, lazy-loading, broken-image detection, mixed-content (insecure http on https) detection, decorative-vs-meaningful classification
• Schema - JSON-LD, Microdata, RDFa parsing; completeness checks for the GEO-critical schema.org types (Article, Organization, FAQPage, Product and more) plus opportunistic bonus types; deep field validation; Article freshness
• Performance - LCP, CLS, FCP, TTFB, DOM size, resource counts (live PerformanceObserver)
• AI Crawlers - robots.txt parse (incl. Sitemap directive) + per-bot access decision across 46 tracked AI crawlers, grouped by purpose: model training, live retrieval, and indexing
• llms.txt - presence and structure against the llmstxt.org proposal, reported for information: no AI vendor is known to read the file and Google states none is needed
• Agent Readiness - 9 well-known probes: sitemap, RFC 8288 Link header, Markdown content negotiation, agent-skills, api-catalog, MCP server card, OAuth & OpenID configuration, ai.txt
• Crawler View - what AI crawlers see WITHOUT JavaScript: raw-HTML coverage, main-content ratio, token bloat, anti-bot signals, five simulated bot perspectives
• AEO - answer-first paragraphs, question headings, info density, table presence, semantic chunking, voice-friendly first paragraph, position-zero alignment
📊 AIO / GEO / AEO SCORE
A separate tab summarises 33 weighted criteria across five tiers (S - Critical, A - High Impact, B - Medium, C - Specialised, D - Forward-Looking). Each criterion has a tier weight, a discipline (AIO / GEO / AEO), a status (PASS / WARN / FAIL / INFO), and a one-click "Copy fix" snippet for the ten highest-impact items. Filter by discipline, focus on a discipline (1.5× weight), or read the un-focused 100-point compliance percent.
🖥️ INTERFACE & WORKFLOW
• Redesigned, dense, technical UI with light / dark / system theme
• Run it as a toolbar popup or as a full-height side panel - your choice
• Filter and search findings; expand any finding to the raw underlying elements (the actual empty anchors, alt-less images, schema blocks)
• Compare any two saved audits side-by-side in History to track regressions
• A Settings page: choose which crawler's rules to read robots.txt as, hide tabs you don't use, set the start tab, control history and its cap, and pick which bots the Crawler View simulates
• First-run onboarding, and a keyboard shortcut (Alt+Shift+S) to open the audit instantly
• Every WARN/FAIL states the exact threshold it missed - no guessing why
• The footer shows the installed version and flags when a newer version is available
🔒 PRIVACY GUARANTEES
• All processing happens on your device. Page content NEVER leaves the browser.
• No analytics, no telemetry, no error reporting, no advertising SDKs.
• No third-party network requests of our own. Three narrow exceptions are documented in the privacy policy: Chrome's own extension-update check, Quick Tools links you click yourself, and image thumbnails loaded from the audited page when you expand the Images list.
• The audit makes a small set of same-origin probes (robots.txt, sitemap.xml, /.well-known/*, etc.) - these are publicly addressable resources the page itself could request. They are sent with "credentials: 'omit'" and "referrerPolicy: 'no-referrer'".
• Audit history is optional - switch it off in Settings and nothing is written. When on, it lives in your browser's IndexedDB only: up to 100 audits, 20 per URL by default (configurable 1–200). Clear any time via the History tab.
• Manifest v3, no "host_permissions", only six minimum permissions: activeTab, storage, scripting, contextMenus, sidePanel, alarms.
• Open privacy policy: https://seobrowser.ru/privacy
⚙️ EXPORT
Every audit can be exported as a self-contained, shareable HTML report (single file, no external resources), JSON, CSV (UTF-8 BOM, Excel-friendly), Markdown, AI-prompt (paste into your AI assistant for tailored remediation), or a dedicated AIO/GEO/AEO Markdown digest.
