SEO Roger opens a panel beside the page you are viewing and checks it for the problems that hold pages back in search: titles and descriptions, headings, images, links, structured data, indexing and loading speed. The page checks are free and need no account. Connect a free account for research tools that run on credits, and on a paid plan see authority figures under each Google result. Whether you audit client sites, check a page before it goes live, or tune your own content, the panel gives you a full check of the page in seconds, and deeper research when you need it. ★ Tools marked ⚡ need a connected account and spend credits from the same balance as your web dashboard. A new account includes one-time credits once its email address is verified, and most tools show their cost before you run them. ───────────────────────────────────── 🆕 NEW IN 1.3.6 ───────────────────────────────────── • Ask before sending - Opening the panel sends nothing to SEO Roger or any other service, except that once you have connected an account, it reloads that account's plan and credits from SEO Roger. The first time you run a tool that uses our server, a short confirm by its button says what it sends: nothing goes to SEO Roger until you choose Continue, and the overview asks rdap.org for the domain's age only when you click Look up. The checks that run in your browser never ask. • Clear labels - Each tool that uses our server says what it sends, next to its button. • The bar on your terms - The bar under search results is now for connected paid plans only, and stays off until you turn it on in the panel. • Fewer permissions - The extension no longer asks to read your browsing history. • Help where the panel can't open - Chrome keeps extensions off some of its own pages, such as the Web Store, Settings and the New Tab page. Click the icon there and a short page explains why. • Welcome page - Opens once, when you install, and shows how to open the panel. • Clearer tags - Tools you can use with credits on a free account are tagged Credits instead of Pro. ───────────────────────────────────── 📊 METRICS UNDER SEARCH RESULTS (PAID PLAN) ───────────────────────────────────── • The metrics bar ⚡ - With a paid plan, Starter or higher, connected to the extension, a bar under each organic listing shows the ranking site's authority score, how many sites link to it, its organic keywords and its estimated monthly organic traffic. The last two figures are for the United States, whatever country you are in. • Your choice - Off until you turn it on: the panel asks once, and the switch "Show SEO metrics under Google results" turns it on or off at any time. Without a connected paid plan, or until you turn it on, nothing is drawn and no addresses are sent. • Built to be affordable - A results page is charged only when one of its sites has no figures stored from the last 30 days. • Honest gaps - A missing value shows as a dash, never as a zero. ───────────────────────────────────── 🔎 OVERVIEW & SITE AUDITS ───────────────────────────────────── • Overview - A score out of 100 from ten checks of the page, with each problem named, plus its HTTP status, robots.txt, sitemap, link counts, load timings and the domain's age. • Full Site Audit (account) - Opens a crawl of the current site on your dashboard, with issues sorted by severity. A run that fails is refunded. ───────────────────────────────────── 🤖 AI VISIBILITY ───────────────────────────────────── • AI Visibility ⚡ - Rates a site out of 100: how often AI Overviews cite it for the searches it ranks for, whether AI crawlers may read it under its robots.txt, and how often it is one of the first three sources cited.
