Selflessness and Liberation

The "Understanding Selflessness Is the First Step to Liberation" Firefox extension offers 100 profound quotes to inspire contemplation on the Buddhist concept of anatta (no-self). Organized into five categories—Nature of Selflessness, Freedom from Ego, Compassion & Unity, Overcoming Suffering, and Living in Selflessness—the quotes are accessed via rectangular buttons with a glowing effect and a heart animation on click. Each category contains 20 quotes, displayed in a scrollable layout with a subtle hover effect for engagement. The extension features a vibrant orange, white, and black color scheme with a radial gradient background, creating a warm yet contemplative atmosphere. The 800x600-pixel popup is designed with a minimalist aesthetic, using rectangular buttons with a glowing hover effect and a heart animation to enhance interactivity. A fixed footer displays the message, "Anatta is when you see that the I is just a concept, and letting go of it is the door to liberation," alongside a real-time clock that updates every second, blending wisdom with functionality. Distinct from other extensions, the radial gradient, glowing buttons, and heart animation create a unique, engaging interface. It requires no permissions, ensuring privacy, and is optimized for performance. This extension encourages users to reflect on selflessness, fostering peace, compassion, and liberation from the illusion of self in daily life.
