Self Respect

Every time you open a browser, you face a choice. Self Respect makes sure that choice is a conscious one. Self Respect is a productivity and wellbeing extension that blocks websites that work against your goals — adult content, social media rabbit holes, gambling sites, or anything else you decide — and redirects you to healthier alternatives instead of just showing an error page. ━━━ THREE LEVELS OF PROTECTION ━━━ 🟢 Soft Block — An overlay reminds you why you're here and gives you a countdown before redirecting you. You can cancel if you genuinely need access. 🟠 Sudoku Challenge — Want to visit the site? Solve a hard Sudoku puzzle first. By the time you finish, you'll have had time to reconsider. 🔴 Hard Block — No countdown. No puzzle. No way through. For the habits you're serious about breaking. ━━━ BUILT FOR REAL HABIT CHANGE ━━━ → Blocks 55+ predefined domains across Adult Content, Social Media, and Gambling categories → Add any custom domain you want to block → Get redirected to curated educational resources instead of a dead end → Track how many times you've been redirected — every block is a win → Enable or disable categories independently ━━━ YOUR PRIVACY, FULLY INTACT ━━━ Self Respect stores everything locally in your browser. No account. No servers. No data ever leaves your device. The developer has zero access to your settings, your blocked domains, or your stats. ━━━ WHO IS THIS FOR? ━━━ Anyone trying to spend less time on sites that drain their energy, confidence, or focus. Whether you're recovering from a compulsive habit, trying to be more productive, or simply want to be more intentional about how you use the internet — Self Respect gives your willpower a fighting chance. Your future self will thank you.
