About Select All Checkboxes
Tired of clicking checkboxes one by one? Select All Checkboxes ticks or unticks every checkbox on the page you are viewing in a single action.
How to use
• Click the toolbar button and choose "Select all" or "Unselect all".
• Or use the keyboard: Alt+Shift+S selects all, Alt+Shift+U unselects all (Ctrl+Shift+S and Ctrl+Shift+U on a Mac; change them at chrome://extensions/shortcuts).
• The popup tells you how many boxes were changed. On pages with a "select all" header box, like Gmail, only the rows are counted.
• The popup also shows your current shortcuts, with a link to change them.
What it handles
• Regular checkboxes, including ones inside web components and accessible frames.
• Custom checkboxes used by web apps (elements marked role="checkbox", such as in Gmail).
• It clicks each box the same way you would, so the page notices the change (row selection, counters and forms update correctly).
What it leaves alone
• Radio buttons, on/off switches, text fields and dropdowns.
• Disabled checkboxes.
Privacy
The extension only runs when you click it or press its shortcut, and only on the tab you are looking at. It collects no data, makes no network requests and has no access to your browsing history.
Note: Chrome does not allow extensions to run on chrome:// pages or the Chrome Web Store itself.
