Segregate — ChatGPT Chat Organizer

Never lose track of which ChatGPT conversations are temporary. This extension automatically detects and visually marks temporary chats, keeping them clearly separated from your permanent chat history — so you always know what's being remembered and what isn't. WHY USE IT ChatGPT's temporary chats are useful, but they look identical to regular chats in your history while they're open, and once closed they vanish without a trace. This extension solves both problems: it marks temporary chats with a clear visual indicator the moment you start one, and gives you a dedicated section to view and manage them separately from your permanent conversation history. FEATURES - Automatic detection — no setup, no toggling. Temporary chats are marked as soon as they're created. - Clear visual separation — instantly tell temporary and permanent chats apart in your sidebar. - Dedicated management view — see all your temporary chats in one place, with the ability to delete them individually or in bulk. - Fast, reliable bulk delete — clean up multiple temporary chats at once without slow page reloads. - 100% local — all data stays in your browser via Chrome's storage API. No external servers, no tracking, no account required. WHO IT'S FOR Built for anyone who uses temporary chats deliberately — privacy-conscious users, professionals handling sensitive queries, or anyone who wants a clean, obvious separation between "throwaway" conversations and the ones they want to keep. PRIVACY This extension does not collect, transmit, or sell any user data. All functionality runs entirely in your browser. No conversation content is ever copied into extension storage — only lightweight metadata needed to track which chats are temporary.
