About ScrollCut — Reels & Shorts Limiter

ScrollCut helps you take back control of your time by limiting how long you spend on Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts every day. Set a daily time limit (5 to 120 minutes). ScrollCut tracks your usage silently in the background. When you hit your limit, a full-screen blocker appears — showing how much time you've used and your own personal reminder of why you set the limit. KEY FEATURES Per-platform tracking — Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts tracked independently Real-time timer visible in the extension popup Full-screen blocker when your daily limit is hit Write your "why" — a personal reminder that appears on the blocker +5 minute grace option — consciously extend if needed Tracks usage across all open tabs automatically Resets automatically every day at midnight 100% free — no account, no subscription PRIVACY ScrollCut collects zero data. Everything (your limit, usage time, personal reminder) is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage. Nothing is ever sent to any server. No analytics. No tracking. Perfect for students, founders, creators, and anyone who wants to scroll less and build more.
