The slow and steady Dino 🦕 🏷️ Give Them an Identity Make it personal — give your pet a custom name that sits right beneath them. 🎮 Ways to Play - Follows your lead — they trot over when your cursor comes near - Drag & drop — pick them up and set them down anywhere - Click — a little heart, a little reaction - Double-click — a happy little dance - Right-click — hide your pet for a moment; right-click again to bring them back - Tap the bed — tuck them in for a nap 🔄 Instant Sync Change your pet, its name, its art style, or where its bed sits — every open tab updates immediately. No refresh needed. 🐾 Your pet feels more alive — play, food, beds, and more natural behavior This update turns your pet from a cute decoration into something closer to a real companion: one you play with, feed, and put to bed. NEW ! 🎾 Play — Fetch & Jingle Toy Right-click your pet and you'll find a new Play menu. How you play depends on the pet. Dog, Maltese, Hamster, Dino → Fetch: throw a ball, watch it roll away, and your pet dashes after it, brings it back, and does a happy little dance. Cat → Jingle toy: a jingling toy follows your cursor, and your cat chases it and leaps up to swat at it. Ask a sleeping pet to play and it'll wake up on its own to join in. NEW ! 🍖 Feeding & Weight There's a new Feed option in the right-click menu. Food drops onto the floor nearby, and your pet walks over and munches it down. Every pet has its own favorite: cat 🐟, dog 🦴, hamster 🌻, dino 🌿. The more they eat, the rounder they get — and the slower they walk. Playing works it off and slims them back down. (No matter how much they play, they'll never drop below a healthy weight.) Food your pet got distracted from and never ate is cleaned up on its own after a while. NEW ! 🛏️ Choose a Bed In the settings popup you can now pick where your pet sleeps: Cushion, Cat tower, or Basket. Pick the cat tower and your pet sleeps up on the top platform, just like a real cat. Changes apply instantly across every open tab. NEW ! 🐈 It no longer follows your cursor too obediently It used to come running the moment you moved the mouse, which got in the way more than it charmed. Now it behaves like a real animal. It notices the cursor first — a little "!" and a pause — and whether it follows is up to its mood at the time. Even when it does follow, it stops just short of the cursor so it never blocks your typing. After one chase, it goes back to minding its own business for a while. And when it's not following you, it keeps itself busy chasing its own tail. NEW ! 🪟 One pet, even with split windows Open several Chrome windows or split your screen, and your pet shows up only in the tab you're actually looking at — no more clones wandering around in every window. NEW ! 🐛 Bug fixes Fixed the Zzz speech bubble appearing far from the pet's head on scrolled pages. Fixed the heart that appears when you pet it showing up unstyled and plain. Fixed the greeting appearing twice when switching pets from the popup. Our pets are designed to be calm and non-intrusive: comfort without distraction. Transform your browsing into a world of cuteness and comfort. Install Screen Pet today and find your perfect digital pal! 💖✨
