The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About ScopeCheck
ScopeCheck inventories the Chrome extensions installed in the current profile and translates declared permissions into plain-language capabilities. It separates access to every website, wildcard domains, and specific sites; shows version and enabled state; and assigns a readable access-surface level.
Save a local baseline to detect newly installed or removed extensions, added or removed permissions, version changes, and enabled-state changes. Export a local JSON audit report when needed. ScopeCheck is read-only: it cannot enable, disable, uninstall, or alter another extension. It has no host permissions, page-content access, server, analytics, or account. Access level describes declared capability, not developer intent or malware risk.
