About SC Blackboard Assistant

SC Blackboard Assistant is an AI-powered search tool built for Schwarzman Scholars at Tsinghua University. It lets you search across all your Blackboard courses, documents, and announcements using natural language — no more clicking through endless folders. HOW IT WORKS • Open Blackboard and the extension automatically scans your courses • Ask questions like, "When is spring break?", or, "What's the reimbursement policy?" • Get direct answers with citations from your actual course materials • Click through to the original resource on Blackboard FEATURES • Smart search: understands questions about calendars, syllabi, locations, faculty, and more • Content extraction: reads PDFs and HTML pages so it can answer from the actual text • Conversational: ask follow-up questions naturally • Light & dark mode • Works with Claude, OpenAI, or DeepSeek (API key required)
