SBS Ad Skipper

Skip Ads for SBS On Demand automatically fast-forwards through ad breaks on SBS On Demand on-demand movies and episodes, then restores normal playback as soon as your show resumes. Because SBS On Demand uses server-side ad insertion (SSAI), ads cannot simply be blocked like traditional web advertisements. Instead, this extension detects when an ad break is playing, temporarily mutes the player, speeds playback up, and restores everything when the content returns. FEATURES • Automatically fast-forwards SBS On Demand ad breaks • Restores normal playback automatically • Mutes audio while advertisements are accelerated • Toolbar toggle to enable or disable the extension • Local lifetime ad-break counter • Lightweight and privacy-friendly LIMITATIONS • Works only on SBS On Demand on-demand titles • Does not work on live streams or live sports • Does not bypass authentication, subscriptions, DRM, or content restrictions • Does not block, intercept, or modify network traffic PRIVACY No data is collected, transmitted, sold, or shared. Only the following information is stored locally: • Extension enabled/disabled state • Local ad-break counter All information remains on your device.
