About Saturn
Save anything you find on the web to Saturn, the notes app for Mac, in one click. Requires Saturn for Mac (saturnnotes.com).
• Already saved. Click the Saturn button or press ⇧⌘S and the page is in your notes, as a card with its picture and title. Add a thought, pick a space or add tags while the popup is open; every change saves as you go. Undo is one click.
• Quotes that link back. Select a passage first and it’s saved as a quote, with formatting and links intact. Its link opens the page scrolled to that exact spot.
• The whole article. Flip one switch to keep the page’s readable text as Markdown, including headings, lists, code and math.
• Right-click anything. Save a page, link, selection or image without leaving the page. A small card confirms where it went and lets you move it.
• Filed where it belongs. Pages go wherever you usually keep that site’s pages, or always to one place you choose.
• Never saved twice. Open it on a page you saved last month and it shows you that note, wherever it lives.
• Private by design. It talks only to Saturn on your Mac: no server, no account, and it never reads a page until you save it. A page with no picture of its own can get a screenshot of what you were looking at, but never on a page asking for a password or card details, and never in a private window. You can turn that off in Options.
Your notes are plain Markdown files in a folder you own, synced with iCloud Drive.
