SandStill - Sand Art Screensaver

Take a quiet break with a sand art screensaver inside Chrome. SandStill draws a continuous path across a circular bed of simulated sand as a polished steel ball rolls over it. The ball leaves a groove, pushes sand into small ridges, and remains on the finished drawing. Explore 172 built-in patterns across 16 collections, from spirals, flowers and mandalas to waves, Op Art, Art Deco, lace, mosaics, ribbons, contours, fractals and celestial forms. Search the library and save favorites for later. Choose a gentle 0.5× starting speed, then pause, restart or move to another pattern. Settle into Evening dusk or switch to soft lavender. Optional locally generated meditation music and rolling sound have separate controls, including an independent rolling-effect volume. Save the current sand drawing as a PNG. SandStill works offline after installation. It does not read web pages, browsing history or URLs, and it does not change your homepage or new tab. It runs in a fullscreen window inside desktop Chrome; it does not replace your operating system's screensaver or lock screen. Automatic idle launch is optional. If enabled, SandStill uses Chrome's idle state to open its own window after your chosen interval and closes that automatic window when activity returns. The optional idle permission is requested only when you turn this feature on. **Features** - 172 offline patterns in 16 collections - Simulated sand grooves and ridges, a reflective rolling steel ball - Search, favorites, pause, restart and automatic pattern rotation - Default playback speed 0.5× and Evening dusk theme - Optional meditation music and independently adjustable sand/steel sound - PNG export to your device - No account, advertising, analytics or website access
