About Samepad
Samepad keeps the ideas you have while you browse. Write a thought, save a quote, or keep a whole article, without leaving the page. Everything lands in your private Samepad history, next to what you capture from the web app, the terminal, and your AI tools.
HOW TO USE
1. Get your key at samepad.app/everywhere and paste it into the Samepad popup.
2. On any page, tap Ctrl twice to open your pad. Write, then press Enter.
3. Select text and press Ctrl+Shift+M (Cmd+Shift+M on Mac) to save it.
4. Right-click a page to save it as Markdown, pick one section to save, or save just the link with a summary.
5. Click any capture to read it with formatting, or edit it in place.
WHAT YOU GET
• A floating pad on every page: search, read, and edit your captures
• Save a selection, one section, or a full page as clean Markdown
• The page title and link saved with each capture, so you know where the idea came from
• Proofread, Improve, or Generate from selected text (right-click → Samepad AI)
• Sticky notes you can pin to a site
• Share a capture with a public link when you choose to
PRIVACY
Samepad saves only what you tell it to save. It does not track the pages you visit, has no analytics or ads, and never sells your data. Your key stays on this browser; click Forget to remove it.
