About Salary Peek: pay ranges on SEEK jobs
Most SEEK ads hide the salary. Salary Peek shows it.
On every SEEK job, in search results, on the job page and in your saved and applied jobs, Salary Peek adds a small pill with the pay range:
• Advertised salary? You see it straight away, tidied up ("$90k – $110k", "$750 – $800/day").
• Hidden salary? Salary Peek works out the pay band the employer gave SEEK, using SEEK's own salary filter, and shows it (for example "$100k – $150k").
• No pay on file at all? It says so, so you're not left guessing.
Worked out once, shared with everyone
The first person to open a job works its salary out. After that it's stored, so everyone else sees it instantly, and SEEK isn't asked twice.
Light on SEEK
Salary Peek looks up one job at a time, slowly, only for jobs you are actually looking at, and stops for half an hour if SEEK asks it to slow down.
Private
No account, no sign-in, no ads, no tracking. It only runs on seek.com.au and never reads your SEEK account, CV or applications. It stores job ids and salaries, plus a random anonymous id for your browser.
Good to know
• A hidden salary is shown as SEEK's pay band, not an exact figure (SEEK stores pay in bands).
• Salary Peek is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by SEEK Limited.
