Saarka Testify Recorder

Saarka Testify Recorder turns what you do in the browser into automated tests for Testify, the no-code test automation platform by Saarka Tech. Click through your web app as a normal user; Testify turns every action into a readable test step and runs it in real browsers. This extension works together with the Testify web app (testify.saarkatech.com) and needs a Testify account. Recording is started from the app: go to Tests and click Record Test. WHAT IT RECORDS • Clicks, double-clicks, typing, dropdowns, checkboxes, hovers, scrolling and drag-and-drop • New tabs and popups, so multi-tab flows play back in the right tab • Links you copy and paste, such as share links • Assertions: right-click any element to check its text, value, visibility, attributes, table data, element count, the page URL or title BUILT FOR TESTS THAT LAST • Captures up to 8 ranked locators for every element (test ids, id, name, role, text, CSS, XPath), which Testify's self-healing uses when your UI changes • Fix one step without starting over: Testify replays your test up to that step in your browser, then lets you record from there, re-record the step or pick a new element HOW IT WORKS 1. Sign in to Testify and open Tests 2. Click Record Test and enter the address of the site to test 3. Use your site in the window that opens; each step appears in Testify as you go 4. Stop recording, review the steps and save the test PRIVACY AND SECURITY • Only works with the Testify web app, and only for signed-in Testify users; other websites and extensions can't use it • Records only in the recording window Testify opens, never in your other tabs • Recorded steps are sent only to the Testify page that startr written to disk by the extension • Nothing is sent to third parties PERMISSIONS • Access to all websites: you can record tests on any site yo • Debugger: used only while Testify replays your earlier stepng, to click and type exactly like a real user.
