The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About S4T - Shortcuts for Tabs
Extension to add some shortcuts I find useful to manage tabs and tab groups.
I use tab groups to organize my open tabs, and Chrome leaves out some
operations I kept wanting: collapsing every group except the one I am working
in, toggling a group by its position, and cycling through tabs in the order I
last viewed them. S4T adds those, plus a few other tab shortcuts.
Only four shortcuts come with a key already assigned:
Alt + A Fast MRU switch, hop between the last few tabs
Alt + T Open a new tab to the right of the current tab
Alt + W Go to the next tab in the window (like Ctrl+Tab)
Alt + Q Go to the previous tab in the window (like Ctrl+Shift+Tab)
The rest are unassigned, so they never collide with your existing shortcuts.
Pick your own keys in chrome://extensions/shortcuts:
Collapse all tab groups except the active one
Collapse or expand all tab groups
Toggle the Nth tab group (by position) collapsed or expanded
Go to the Nth tab of the current group, a rebindable replacement for Chrome's
fixed Ctrl+1 to Ctrl+9 (9 means the last tab of the group)
Open a new tab to the left of the current tab
Close all tabs to the right within the current tab group
MRU switch forward and MRU switch backward, to walk further down the list of
recently used tabs
MRU switching works like Alt+Tab in the Windows, Mac and Linux window
managers. Releasing the keys finalizes the choice and moves that tab to the
top of the list.
The extension requests a single permission, tabGroups. It does not read page
content, does not read tab URLs or titles, and collects no data.
