About Roger Shadelyt - AI Data Leak Protection
Roger Shadelyt stops employees from accidentally sending sensitive company data to AI tools such as chat assistants,
coding assistants and translators.
When someone pastes, types, drops or uploads something into a supported AI site, the extension holds it for a moment
while the Roger Shadelyt agent on the same PC checks it: payment cards, bank details, national ID and tax numbers for
41 countries, passports, passwords, API keys and private keys, health identifiers, and anything the organisation has
marked as confidential. Depending on the organisation's policy, the message is allowed, sent with the sensitive parts
replaced, sent with a reason, or stopped, with an explanation in the employee's language (12 languages).
This extension is for organisations that use Roger Shadelyt. It works together with the Roger Shadelyt agent, which
your IT team installs; on its own it runs only a basic built-in check. Your employer decides the rules, and the
results go to your employer's own Roger Shadelyt console, not to Shadelyt.
What it does not do: it does not read browsing history or cookies, it does not run on sites other than the AI tools
listed and those your organisation adds (each one only after you approve it), and it sends what you type nowhere but
the agent on your own PC (127.0.0.1).
