The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About RightCount

RightCount shows a lightweight count bubble when you right-click selected text on a web page. It is designed for mixed Chinese and English text: - Chinese is counted by character - English is counted by word - Numbers are counted as one token - Punctuation is ignored The count appears in the lower-left corner of the page and disappears automatically after a short delay. RightCount works locally in the browser. It does not send selected text anywhere, does not store it, and does not use analytics or tracking.
