Riffwise — AI Reply Generator for Social Media

Riffwise is a context-aware reply assistant for social platforms, chats and browser-based conversations. It helps you participate in online conversations without copying posts or messages into a crowded general-purpose AI sidebar. Compatibility: Riffwise runs in desktop Chrome on Mac, Windows and Chromebook. Mobile Chrome does not run extensions. Right-click in a composer or on selected text to: • reply to the post or message you are viewing; • create independent quote-post commentary; • improve clarity, grammar, tone or length; • choose a voice, output length and language; • teach the assistant your preferred writing style; • review, edit, insert, replace or copy the result. Riffwise includes dedicated context detection for X posts and chats, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky and Gmail. In X Chat, it identifies the latest incoming message and uses recent conversation context while keeping participant roles clear. In Gmail, it identifies the email being answered, uses recent thread context to resolve references and inserts the result before your saved signature. On X, relevant attached post images can be included so short captions are not interpreted in isolation. Riffwise shows the detected source text and indicates when an image is included before generation, keeping you in control. Riffwise runs only after you choose a Riffwise menu action, click its toolbar button or use its keyboard shortcut. It never publishes automatically. To create a draft, Riffwise securely sends the displayed selected or drafted text, detected source text, relevant attached media, enabled nearby context, selected writing settings and optional personal-style note to the Riffwise service and OpenAI. It does not collect general browsing history. The hosted service uses authenticated accounts and server-side monthly allowances. The service API key remains server-side and is never bundled into Chrome. Riffwise is free to install: the Free plan includes 40 successful generations each calendar month, no card required. An optional Pro subscription — 500 generations each month at EUR 5.99 per month or EUR 49 per year — is available from Riffwise Settings after sign-in. Paid subscriptions are sold and administered by Paddle as merchant of record: Paddle hosts checkout and handles payment processing, tax, invoices, refunds and subscription administration.
