About Resort Fees by NJSTravel
Resort fees are usually paid at the front desk, and many booking pages leave them out of the price you see. This extension puts the fee where you are already looking.
Open a hotel's page on a supported booking, review or map site (they are shown in the screenshots) and a small card shows:
- the resort, destination or amenity charge per night, in the property's own words, and whether tax is added;
- the date we read it on the property's official website;
- any condition attached to it, and any second nightly charge;
- a link to the details on njstravel.com.
When the official site says there is no resort fee, the card says so. When it says nothing, or would not load for us, the card says "not confirmed", never "no fee".
The figures come from NJSTravel's dataset of over 2,000 US hotels in more than 40 cities, each read on the property's own website, never a booking site's summary. The card follows your browser's language, in English or Spanish.
Private by design: the extension reads the page you are on inside your browser and compares the name with a list built into it. It sends nothing anywhere, makes no request of its own, stores nothing and asks for no permission beyond running on the supported sites.
