The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Resimay: Save Jobs Instantly
Resimay is a job search workspace. This extension brings it to the pages where you actually find and apply for jobs, so you can save a posting the moment you see it, fill in an application from a profile you completed once, and keep every application's status current without opening another tab.
It is built for people who are applying to many roles at once and losing track: which postings they saved, which forms they already filled, which companies they still need to follow up with. Everything the extension saves lands in your Resimay tracker, where you can see each application move from saved to applied to interviewing.
WHAT THE EXTENSION DOES
Save jobs from the page you are on
On the major job boards, a small Save button appears on each posting. One click adds the title, company, description and link to your tracker. You can also save from the toolbar popup: open it on any posting, go to the Save tab, and press Save to Resimay. A saved posting opens in your tracker with a link back to the original page.
Autofill applications from your profile
On the application systems most employers use, open the popup and choose Autofill. The extension enters your name, contact details, work history, education and eligibility answers from your Resimay profile, continues on the next steps of the same application, and attaches your resume. If you created a tailored version of your resume for that posting in Resimay, it attaches that version instead of your master copy. Fields it filled are highlighted so you can check them, fields it was unsure about are marked for your attention, and a short summary tells you what was filled and what was skipped. It never presses Submit. You review the form and submit it yourself.
Other career websites
Many employers host applications on their own sites, which cannot be known in advance. On those pages, choose Try autofill on this site in the popup. Chrome shows its own permission prompt for that site, and the extension runs there only if you agree. You can remove that permission at any time in Chrome's extension settings, and the extension checks it again before every run.
Suggested answers for open questions
Application forms often ask open questions, such as why you want the role or what interests you about the company. For these, you can ask for a draft answer written from your profile and the job description. The draft appears in the field for you to read, edit or replace, and nothing is sent until you submit the form yourself. Questions about gender, race, disability, veteran status, pronouns and other voluntary self-identification topics are always left blank for you to answer.
Remember new answers
When you type something the extension could not fill, it can offer to add that answer to your profile so the next application is faster. It only saves an answer when you accept the offer.
Status updates without extra work
When you press Apply on a job board where you saved the posting, a small prompt asks whether to mark it as applied. Nothing changes unless you choose Yes. On supported application systems, when the confirmation page appears after you apply, the saved posting is marked as applied automatically and an Undo button appears in case the page was not what it seemed.
Follow-up emails
The popup's Email tab drafts a follow-up for a saved posting: for example after applying, after an interview, or when you have not heard back. Pick the situation, read the draft, change anything you like, then copy it or open it in your email with the text already in place. The extension never sends email on its own.
Tailor your resume for a posting
From the popup, you can start tailoring your master resume for a saved posting. The tailored version is kept with that posting in Resimay and is the one the extension attaches when you autofill that application. Tailoring is part of Resimay's paid plans.
WHERE IT WORKS
The Save button appears on the large job boards, and autofill is built for the application systems that most employers use, plus any career site you allow yourself. The exact list of sites is shown in this listing's Permissions section and in the extension's site access settings in Chrome. On every site, the extension stays idle until it sees a job posting or an application form. It does not read your feed, messages or profile pages.
HOW TO START
Install the extension and click the Resimay icon in the toolbar.
Choose Connect and sign in to your Resimay account in the tab that opens. The tab closes by itself and the popup shows your account.
Complete your profile and upload your resume at resimay.ai so autofill has something to work with.
Open any job posting and save it, or open an application form and choose Autofill.
WHAT IT NEVER DOES
It never submits an application, sends an email or changes a status without your click.
It never runs on a site you have not allowed.
It never shows ads, and it contains no analytics or tracking code.
It never sells your data or uses it for anything other than the features above.
YOUR DATA
Everything the extension sends goes to your own account on Resimay's server at api.resimay.ai, over an encrypted connection, and only to run the features described here. The one exception is when you choose to open a draft in your email, which hands the text to your email provider in your browser.
On your computer, Chrome's extension storage keeps your sign-in, a list linking saved postings to tracker entries, a few settings such as where you placed the Save button, and short-lived details of applications in progress. A copy of your profile and resume is cached only for the current browser session so a multi-step form does not download them again, and Chrome clears it when you close the browser. Signing out removes your account data from the extension, and uninstalling removes everything.
PERMISSIONS IN PLAIN WORDS
Read the current tab when you click the toolbar icon: to save the posting you are looking at.
