About Research Starter

Research Starter helps you turn any webpage into actionable insights in one click. When you open the extension, it reads only the page you’re currently viewing, extracts the visible text, and sends it to Gemini to generate a clean research summary. You get key points, themes, and useful takeaways without leaving your tab. Features: - One-click analysis of the current page - Structured AI summary for faster understanding - Saves your API key and preferences locally for convenience - Lightweight, on-demand workflow (not always running in the background) Privacy-focused behavior: - Runs only when you click Analyze - Accesses only the active tab at that moment - Stores settings locally in your browser
