Reply Defaults for X

Choose who can reply on X — and remember your preference for the next new post. Reply Defaults for X saves your preferred reply audience and automatically selects it when you open a new blank post composer on desktop x.com. Spend less time repeating the same setting, while keeping control of each post. FIVE REPLY AUDIENCE CHOICES • Everyone • Accounts you follow • Accounts you follow and who they follow • Only accounts you mention • Verified accounts ENGLISH AND SIMPLIFIED CHINESE Follow your browser's language automatically, or choose English or Simplified Chinese in the extension. Your choice is remembered. Switching the extension's language does not change X's own language or your reply preference. YOU STAY IN CONTROL The default applies once to each new blank composer. You can still change that post's reply setting manually. Changing your saved default does not overwrite an already-open composer. Existing text drafts keep their settings unless you explicitly apply the default. Pause automatic settings anytime with the on/off switch. LOCAL PREFERENCES Your reply audience, language and enabled state are stored on your device. The extension includes no analytics or automatic posting. It does not upload your settings to the developer. HOW TO USE 1. Open the extension and choose your preferred reply audience. 2. Leave “Apply reply default” enabled. 3. Open a new blank post on x.com. 4. Check X's native reply setting before you publish. IMPORTANT This extension uses X's existing reply controls; it does not unlock options unavailable to your account. Available options and reply rules depend on X.
