The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Remove Multi Titles (YouTube)
YouTube sometimes shows different titles and thumbnails for the same video (for example A/B tests). This add-on remembers the first title and thumbnail you see for each video and keeps showing that on the player and in list-style pages (home, subscriptions, search, related videos, and similar).
How it works: The first time a title/thumbnail appears for a video, it is saved locally in your browser. On later visits, that same one is always shown again for that video ID. Updates run after navigation (including YouTube’s in-page history changes), with short retries so metadata can load—there is no aggressive continuous polling of the whole page.
Scope: The add-on only runs on youtube.com. It does not run on other sites.
Privacy: No accounts, no analytics, and no requests to our servers. Pinned items are stored only in the browser’s extension storage on your device. See the privacy policy link on this listing for details.
Requirements: Firefox 140 or newer (desktop). Firefox for Android 142 or newer, where applicable.

v3.0.0 — Release Notes
- The extension no longer slows YouTube down, never holds a response, and no longer mixes titles or channels between pages.
**Fixed**
- Slow navigation and videos that kept loading until a hard refresh: responses are passed on immediately and patched as they stream, with no waiting on storage.
- Titles and channels leaking from a previous page: aborted requests are honoured, and titles are learned only from certain id associations.
- Labels such as "Up next" saved as video titles, the first video frame used as a thumbnail, and playlists/mixes pinned as videos.
- The watch title changing a few seconds after load (updated_metadata).
- Blurry or wrongly proportioned thumbnails: native sizes are kept, and a pinned thumbnail that no longer exists falls back to YouTube's own.
**Changed**
- Pins now also apply to the player, the tab title, Shorts and YouTube Music (Music pins are kept separately).
- Existing pins are cleaned up automatically on first run.
- Least-recently-seen pins are dropped first once the store is full.
- The popup shows the pin count and has a "Clear pins" button.
- Plays nicely with other extensions that fetch YouTube data, e.g. YouTube Anti Translate.
- Only the storage permission is needed; there is no background script.
