Remember to Vote

To use Remember to Vote, open the extension from your browser’s extensions menu and select your U.S. state. The extension will then show election-related information and reminders that are relevant to your location. Use the Elections & Deadlines tab to view upcoming elections, primary dates, voter registration deadlines, early voting periods, and mail-in or absentee voting deadlines. Each event includes the date, a short description, and how far away it is. When available, you can also use the Add to Calendar option to save an important election date to your personal calendar. In the Reminder Alerts section, choose when you want to be notified. You can enable reminders for 30 days, 14 days, 7 days, 3 days, 1 day before an event, and on the day of the event itself. You can also choose which types of events you want the extension to track, such as general elections, primary elections, voter registration deadlines, mail-in or absentee deadlines, and early voting windows. The extension periodically checks for upcoming events and sends browser notifications based on the reminder settings you selected. The State Resources tab provides useful voting links for your selected state. These may include the official state election website, voter registration or registration-status tools, polling-place information, and nonpartisan voter resources. This section is designed to make it easier to find official voting information without having to search for it manually. Your state selection and reminder preferences are saved so you do not need to configure the extension every time you open it. You can return to the settings at any time to change your notification schedule or the types of election events you want to follow.
