The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Remedia
Spot clickbait and misinformation while you browse - with context from fact-checkers, right on the page.
Remedia shows you what is known about an article before you click, and lets you flag what looks wrong:
* Alternative titles: when a news headline is clickbait, Remedia can show a clearer, AI-generated title in its place. The original title stays visible when you hover the icon.
* Claim reviews: see fact-checkers' reviews of an article, the claims made by people, and their trust ratings, while you read.
* Badges on links: a small circle next to a link tells you there is more information about that article on Remedia.
* Dislike an article to signal that its headline or content is misleading.
* Report a suspicious article so it can be fact-checked by Remedia.
* Sign in with your Remedia account (optional) to keep your reports and activity together.
What it changes on a page: it adds small badges next to links that have data on Remedia, and it replaces a headline with an alternative one when one exists. Nothing else on the page is modified.
Remedia is a crowdsourcing platform for checking news and claims. The extension lets you use that data while you simply browse the web. To contribute your own content, join at https://remedia.social
