About Reloop - Learn from the web
Reloop helps you understand foreign-language web pages and keep useful words and passages for later reading.
• Select text and click the R mark to see a translation without leaving the page. English entries can include parts of speech and phonetic hints.
• Turn on bilingual reading from the extension popup to display translations below article paragraphs. Reloop remembers sites where you enable this feature.
• Listen using your browser’s speech voices. Available languages and voices depend on your device.
• Save words, translations and source context. Search and sort saved entries, expand sources, open the original page, delete entries and undo deletion.
• Choose Google or advanced translation and one of 22 target languages.
• Use the interface in Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, French or Thai, following your browser language.
Sign in with Google or an email verification code before using the learning features. Advanced translation availability and account access depend on the service configuration; refer to the status shown in the extension.
Saved entries stay in the current browser. They do not sync to a cloud account or the Reloop App. Translation requires online processing: Google mode sends text directly to Google and may send English words to Datamuse for phonetic hints. Advanced mode sends text, and nearby context for word explanations, to Reloop’s service and then to OpenRouter and the configured model provider. Reloop handles account authentication; Resend delivers email verification codes.
Website access is needed to offer text selection tools and bilingual article reading on ordinary HTTP/HTTPS pages. Reloop does not read your complete browser history. Browser internal pages, extension stores, PDFs and some restricted pages are unsupported. Text is transmitted when you use translation or visit a site where you previously enabled bilingual reading.
This version does not provide YouTube bilingual subtitles, cloud collection sync or App collection sync.
