About Relay PROXY — proxy switcher
Relay PROXY switches Chrome between proxies in one click and lets every site take its own route: through your office proxy, through your VPS, or straight out.
SEE AND CHANGE THE ROUTE
• The toolbar icon takes the colour of the proxy the open site goes through, and the popup tells you which rule sent it there.
• Pick a proxy for the current site right in the popup. The rule is saved and the page reloads.
• A page won’t load? Relay PROXY counts the sites that failed on it and lets you send each one through a proxy.
RULES THAT READ LIKE A LIST
• Site with all its subdomains, host pattern, address pattern, regular expression, IP range.
• Subscription lists in AutoProxy / gfwlist format, plain domain lists or hosts files, updated automatically.
• Checked top to bottom: drag to reorder, switch a rule off without deleting it, paste many sites at once.
• “Check an address” shows which rule matches any URL and highlights it.
PROXY SERVERS
• HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS5 and SOCKS4, with a list of addresses that always connect directly.
• Proxies that ask for a username and password are signed in automatically.
• Paste socks5://user:password@host:1080 and the fields fill themselves.
• PAC scripts by address or written by hand.
MOVING FROM SWITCHYOMEGA OR ZEROOMEGA
Import their backup file. Profiles, rules and rule lists come over, with a short report of anything that couldn’t be converted.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything stays on your computer. No account, no analytics, no ads, no remote code. The only downloads are the rule lists you subscribe to.
ALSO
• Light and dark theme.
• English, Español, Français, Italiano, Русский, Українська.
• Settings save as you type. Backup and restore in one file.
• A warning when another extension has taken over Chrome’s proxy settings.
GOOD TO KNOW
• Chrome itself can’t sign in to SOCKS proxies that need a password.
• For https sites Chrome shows extensions only the host name, so rules match on the host there.
