Here is the standard LinkedIn experience: You scroll through ten pages of results, refresh, and realize 90% are jobs you have already clicked. Every description buries the actual requirements under a novel about the company mission. You click "see more," skim a wall of text, and waste two minutes just to find a single bullet point that disqualifies you. Refined LinkedIn strips away these dark patterns and dramatically reduces the cognitive load of job hunting. KEY FEATURES: • Ghosts Already-Seen Jobs: Jobs you have opened turn grey and show how long ago you saw them. (Sneaky reposts under new links still count). • Color-Coded Freshness: Job age is color-coded from green (1 day old) to red (2+ months old). • AI Auto-Folding: Automatically collapses company fluff, generic perks, and fine print. You only see what the job actually is and what they want from you. Hard requirements (YoE, degrees, languages) always stay visible without ever clicking "see more." • Keyword Highlighting: Words you care about (like "Remote" or "Python") automatically highlight in blue. • Inline Notes: Leave personal notes on a specific job or pin them to an exact sentence. • Remote Only: LinkedIn's Remote filter still lists hybrid jobs. Tick one box and every job that isn't remote turns grey. • Your Jobs, Kept: Every job you open or scroll past is saved on your computer with its description. Download them all as one file for an AI chat or a script. HOW THE AI WORKS: Bring your own AI. Sign in with your ChatGPT account (Plus or Pro), or paste an API key for Gemini or any OpenAI-compatible service. I use GPT-6 Luna on medium effort. The folding is not perfect, but it does the job well enough and drastically speeds up the reading process.
