About RedFlag — Accessibility Scanner

RedFlag lets developers and agencies find, track, and fix WCAG 2.1 & 2.2 AA accessibility issues directly from the browser — no separate audit tools, no waiting for reports. HOW IT WORKS Click the RedFlag icon on any page. axe-core runs entirely in your browser and results appear in the extension as the scan completes. You see exactly which elements are failing, which WCAG criteria they violate, and what to do about it. When you're signed in, findings automatically sync to your RedFlag dashboard after each scan. KEY FEATURES • In-browser scanning — axe-core runs locally on the active page, powered by axe-core and RedFlag custom rules • Full-site crawl — after you start a crawl, RedFlag discovers sitemap pages and scans up to 100 pages per run • Dashboard sync — when signed in, violations automatically sync to your RedFlag account so you can track progress over time • Fix & recheck — mark an issue fixed and recheck just that element without rescanning the whole page • Highlight element — jump to the failing element on the page with a visual overlay • Status tracking — set Open, In Progress, Ready to Verify, or Confirmed Fixed on each violation • Notes — leave notes on individual violations for your team or future reference • Scan history — see how violation counts change over time WHO IT'S FOR • Freelancers and agencies running accessibility audits for clients • Developers who want to catch issues during build rather than after launch • QA teams incorporating accessibility into their regular workflow • Anyone who needs to demonstrate WCAG compliance to clients or stakeholders PLANS Free — scan any page, up to 1 domain, full-site crawl up to 100 pages/run on 1 distinct crawl domain (lifetime), dashboard sync when signed in Pro ($15/mo) — unlimited domains, full-site crawl up to 100 pages/run, URL List Scan, CSV export, VPAT export PRIVACY Scans run entirely in your browser using axe-core. When you are signed in, findings automatically sync to your dashboard (page URL, origin, selectors, HTML snippets, rule IDs, rule descriptions, help text and help links, applicable WCAG criteria, rule documentation links, severity, and timestamps). Optional AI Label Review sends every reviewable element to RedFlag as selector, tag, role, accessible name, and associated visible-label text only; RedFlag runs deterministic checks on the full set, then Google Gemini reviews only the subset that still needs judgement. Page URLs, page indices, and HTML snippets are never sent to Gemini. See our Privacy Policy: https://www.redflagstatus.com/privacy
